 
Dr. Sharp graduated from Colorado State University Veterinary School in 1975. He has been an owner and practitioner at Brickyard Animal Hospital for over 32 years. Dr. Sharp was awarded the great honor of 2005 Utah Veterinarian of the Year. He currently represents Utah Veterinary Medical Association (UVMA) as Delegate to the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) House of Delegates.
Dr. Sharps professional interests include general and orthopedic surgery. He is also one of the few veterinarians that performs ear crops. Dr. Sharp makes every attempt to make sure the procedure is not unduly uncomfortable for the animals by using the latest pain relief medicines.
Dr. Sharp and his wife, Marylinn, have 13 children, and 33 grandchildren (at last count). His family also includes a dog, several cats, a flock of chickens, and anywhere between 8 and 12 horses at any given time. He enjoys horse riding, and raising Missouri Fox Trotting Horses. He especially enjoys horse packing into the mountains and camping, fishing, shooting and most other outdoor activities. |
